Just when I read about the birthday traditions and decide that you have to be insane to go Antarctica, you go and post these pictures! Wow, looks amazing, might even be worth getting burried in snow ;)

Jane Foote has published two well written articles, with some lovely photos, in the local 'Talk of the Town' weekly newspaper here in PA on her trip. Final one expected this Thursday,, all of which we will see reaches Cape Town. Also this Thursday Jane is giving an informal talk here to a group called 'Arm Chair Travel', which I intend attending. So, the exploits of SANAE 51 are not going unnoticed back home! All the best to you all !.

Wow! What breath taking pictures. You must be loving your camera. Thank you for showing us a small insight into your very busy and challenging work. What a great place to be for research. I am sure you are still having a blast. Wonder if they do holidays to you ;-)
